Color Control System - Instrument Flight® + L*a*b*
The closed-loop color control system CCS-Instrument Flight from QuadTech/System Brunner for all web offset presses has gained acceptance worldwide due to the state-of-the-art control strategy with gray balance priority. The further developed version CCS-Instrument Flight + L*a*b* works with a new spectral scanner from QuadTech. As a result, besides the process parameters previously measured, Instrument Flight is now for the first time expanded with additional colorimetrical measured data which are included in color control. This permits even better conformity with international standards. Inking units are controlled in accordance with criteria that achieve optimal visual color consistency in illustration printing. CCS-Instrument Flight + L*a*b* is a key factor within the scope of Color Management in its entirety and guarantees the highest degree of color fidelity and economy.

Print Expert® Suite
With Print Expert Suite 2.0, printing companies have the critical process steps proof, printing plate and print under control at all times. Print Expert 2.0 consists of four different, modularly constructed applications all operated with one and the same measuring device. With a scan spectrophotometer, users can reliably check in a matter of seconds whether their digital proofs, printing plates and printed sheets conform to Eurostandard System Brunner and the ISO standard 12647-2.
